Attorney David E. Timmons has been in private practice since 1999, concentrating in criminal defense, but also focusing on divorce, family law, landlord/tenant and civil litigation. A former partner in the firms Feeney, Klotz & Timmons, LLC and Klotz & Timmons, LLC, he is an experienced trial attorney admitted to practice in Massachusetts state courts, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Timmons is a member of the Essex County and Lawrence Bar Associations, and serves as a member of the Steering Committee for the Essex County Bar Association Advocates, Inc. Attorney Timmons has lectured to other practioneres regarding the admissibility of drug analysis certificates with regards to the landmark United States Supreme Court decision of Crawford v. Washington, as well as serving as guest lecturer to the paralegal department at Northern Essex Community College.
Prior to private practice, Mr. Timmons interned with the Committee for Public Counsel Services, and served as a student law clerk for New Hampshire Superior Court Justice Robert Lynn. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1971, Attorney Timmons obtained his Associate and Bachelor degrees from the University of New Hampshire, and graduated from the Massachusetts School of Law where he also served as a member and group editor of the law review, as well as was recruited to participate in the American Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) moot court competition.
